Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to work in cold environments such as freezers and coolers
- Ability to lift at least 20lb or more
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to take direction and work as part of a team
- Basic cash handling skills if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Prepare bake package and label pastries cookies breads sweet goods and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service including taking orders and answering questions in person and by phone
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently such as ovens mixers slicers
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work in freezer and coolers
- Lift at least 20lb or more
- Follow food safety protocols hygiene keep a clean neat and tidy work station follow sanitation guidelines at all times
- Handle cash register transactions accurately if applicable
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production and service goals take direction from management and be a self-starter
