Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check

  • ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 0 to 3 years of supervisory experience preferred

  • ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, box cutters, and pricing guns
  • must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated
  • deliver daily conditions that meet company expectations for product availability, freshness, quality, and value
  • offer product samples and answer customer questions
  • assist customers in finding or suggesting products
  • ensure customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
  • promote teamwork and communicate company and job-specific information to associates
  • adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • maintain awareness of inventory and report discrepancies
  • review and inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action
  • prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
  • utilize production planning tools to produce fresh products and follow discard or markdown processes to reduce shrink
  • ensure products are held at proper temperatures and maintain temperature logs
  • ensure company standards for safety, food handling, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
  • execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly
  • reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions
  • notify management of accidents and report all safety risks or illegal activities
  • ensure compliance with wage and hour policies
  • cultivate a culture of safety and ensure all associates receive necessary safety training
  • ensure equipment is in good repair and report safety hazards
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
