Job Requirements

- six months experience in a bakery production department or six months experience supervising a team
- successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed timeframes if hired

Job Duties
- supervises the team within the Bakery department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating the goals of the department
- executes company programs and adheres to policies while advocating for the member, associate, and company
- works collaboratively with other team leaders to meet member expectations
- maintains an in-depth knowledge of bakery operations, product specifications, and seasonal product changes
- ensures the department meets quality, safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
- shares knowledge and provides training to team members
- utilizes digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates
- drives operational excellence by maintaining a clean, safe work environment and ensuring appropriate staffing for bakery volumes
- produces and displays merchandise according to layout plans
- identifies training needs and encourages career growth within the team
- participates in developing and implementing processes to meet business needs collaboratively
- promotes compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity
- leads and participates in teams to coordinate work assignments, provide feedback, and adapt to change or new challenges
