Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment including slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and pull up to 250 lbs
- Willingness to work varied shifts
- Ability to comply with safety and food handling regulations

Job Duties
- Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated that will increase customer confidence and loyalty
- Deliver daily conditions that meet the company’s expectations for at shelf product availability, freshness, quality and value
- Offer product samples, answer product questions and assist customers in finding or suggesting products
- Ensure customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
- Promote trust and respect among associates by collaborating, promoting teamwork, and communicating company, department, and job specific information
- Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and report any discrepancies
- Review and inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action with those items
- Prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
- Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines including proper temperature holding of products and documentation
- Comply with safety procedures and inspect, identify, and report unsafe conditions to store management
- Report safety risks, illegal activity, and accidents
- Ensure all associates are trained and utilize personal protective equipment
- Operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, and pricing guns according to company guidelines
