Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain the same
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- strong customer service skills
- exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun according to company guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred

- ability to work varied shifts
- English language proficiency preferred
- Spanish language proficiency a plus
Job Duties
- Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated
- ensure product availability, freshness, quality and value
- offer product samples and answer customer questions
- fulfill customer requests and special orders
- promote teamwork and communicate company information
- comply with all local, state and federal laws
- maintain awareness of inventory and report discrepancies
- inspect products for quality and freshness
- prepare, package, label and display products
- use production planning tools to reduce shrink
- ensure product temperature compliance and retain documentation
- adhere to safety, food handling and sanitation standards
- participate in product recalls and withdrawals
- report safety hazards and incidents
- ensure wage and hour policy compliance
- support safety training and use of protective equipment
- operate bakery equipment safely and according to guidelines
