Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior bakery or food handling experience beneficial
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently, and with assistance heavier loads
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and bakery production charts
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Capable of working in temperature variations including freezers and ovens
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Strong communication and member service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to adapt and learn new baking and food safety techniques
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts according to production charts
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, breads, pies, and pastries
- Decorate special order or case products as needed
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments ensuring quality standards
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and display areas
- Operate bakery equipment safely in accordance with company policies
- Generate labels and price tickets, perform price checks, and ensure accurate pricing
- Answer member questions and take special bakery orders
- Maintain club policies and perform other duties as assigned
