Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- authorization to work in the United States
- successful completion of pre-employment drug test and background check
- ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- strong communication skills
- ability to work varied shifts
- physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs and pulling up to 250 lbs
- willingness to comply with all safety and food handling procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of supervisory or relevant experience
- strong customer service skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, and scales
- basic knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to work varied shifts
- authorization to work in the United States
- fluency in English, Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated
- deliver daily conditions ensuring freshness, quality, and product availability
- offer product samples and respond promptly to customer inquiries
- fulfill customer requests and special orders accurately
- promote teamwork and communicate company policies and job-specific information
- maintain inventory awareness and report discrepancies
- prepare, package, label, and display bakery products following safety guidelines
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations and execute recalls as needed
- report safety hazards and incidents to management
- operate bakery equipment safely according to guidelines
