Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, box cutters, and pricing guns
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work varied shifts
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in various temperature conditions
- Ability to report safety risks and incidents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment following company guidelines
- Ability to complete safety training and comply with safety procedures

Job Duties
- Create a welcoming environment for customers to increase confidence and loyalty
- Deliver daily conditions that meet expectations for product availability, freshness, quality, and value
- Offer product samples and assist customers with product questions and suggestions
- Fulfill customer requests and special orders
- Collaborate with associates to promote teamwork and communicate company, department, and job-specific information
- Maintain inventory awareness, inspect product quality and freshness, and report discrepancies
- Prepare, package, label, and display bakery products for sale
- Utilize production planning tools to produce fresh products accurately and follow markdown processes
- Ensure products are held at proper temperatures per food safety guidelines
- Comply with safety procedures and food handling standards
- Execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly
- Report safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities
- Monitor and maintain equipment safety and functionality
