Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years experience in bakery or pastry operations
- supervisory experience preferred
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
- proficiency with inventory management tools
- valid work authorization

- supervisory or team leadership experience
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to train and mentor staff

Job Duties
- Support and uphold Valley View Casino's Standards of Excellence
- maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints
- assist in training team members on pastry preparation
- oversee and implement new menu items for outlets
- perform daily inventory and ordering
- respond to internal and external guest requests
- ensure recipes are current and organized
- assist staff in assembling and monitoring all baked goods
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of items
- ensure food preparation meets Pastry Chef standards
- coordinate with Stewarding on cleaning tasks
- ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation
- adhere to food cost and labor control procedures
- ensure compliance with Health Department sanitation standards
- assist with team member scheduling and timekeeping
- maintain team morale and communication
- carry out supervisory duties professionally and ethically
- maintain consistent attendance
