Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over five years of experience as a baker preferred
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Knowledge of basic baking processes and techniques including preparing dough batters and baked goods
- Knowledge of proper food handling storage and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety
- Familiarity with different types of bakery products ingredients and recipes
- Ability to bake various goods from breads to pastries following recipes and adjusting as necessary
- Precision in measuring ingredients following recipes and ensuring the quality and appearance of baked goods
- Efficiently managing time to complete baking tasks and meet production schedules
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Supervise and manage the bakery team providing guidance and support to ensure efficient production
- Prepare doughs batters and fillings according to established recipes and techniques
- Weigh and measure ingredients precisely to ensure consistency in product quality
- Operate and maintain baking equipment including mixers ovens and proofing chambers
- Shape mold and decorate dough to create a variety of breads pastries and desserts
- Monitor the baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection and meet desired standards
- Coordinate with the bakery lead to determine baking priorities and production schedules
- Assist in inventory management ensuring adequate stock levels of ingredients and supplies
- Receive validate and store merchandise and ingredient deliveries
- Follow strict sanitation and food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic baking environment
- Train and mentor new bakery staff ensuring they understand and follow established procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and special orders ensuring customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular quality checks and implement improvements as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
