Job Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a commercial bakery, pastry kitchen, or catering setting preferred
- Ability to work early mornings or nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire

Job Duties
- Prepare, bake, and finish a wide range of items including cakes, cookies, tarts, croissants, breads, and specialty desserts
- Follow standard recipes and production schedules with precision
- Assist in creating custom desserts for catered events or special orders
- Portion, label, and package pastries and baked goods for delivery and off-site catering
- Organize and load items for transport, ensuring presentation and freshness
- Collaborate with the catering team on order requirements and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and kitchen prep areas
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper food storage and sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- report shortages or issues to management
- Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house team members
- Help with dishwashing, kitchen cleanup, and restocking as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a collaborative team environment
