Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for 5-8 hours daily
- Exposure to hot environment for 5-8 hours daily
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping for several hours
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in bakery or food service preferred but not required
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- Good organizational skills
Job Duties
- Assist with the bakery operation within the retail store environment to include preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of all bakery products
- Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times
- Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer’s request
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards at all times
- Responsible for assisting and/or creating customer special orders such as cake orders
- Responsible for operating bakery department equipment including but not limited to ovens, mixers, and utensils
- Adhere to all corporate and state sanitation regulations in keeping a neat and clean work station
- Must be familiar with state and corporate safety standards
- Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures
