Job Requirements

Proficiency in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
physical capability to handle, arrange, and move bakery products and equipment safely
strong communication skills
ability to follow directions and company standards
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a bakery, deli, or food service environment
familiarity with proper food safety and handling protocols
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety standards
multilingual communication skills are a plus

Job Duties

Provide outstanding customer assistance by greeting and supporting customers with bakery-related inquiries
assist the department manager in meeting sales and profitability goals
maintain bakery displays by restocking, organizing, and rotating products to ensure freshness and visual appeal
follow company guidelines for packaging and labeling baked goods
comply with quality, food safety, and sanitation standards
regularly check product freshness and remove items that do not meet quality standards
support inventory control, procurement, and product presentation according to instructions
maintain a safe and clean work environment according to company standards
