Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to follow recipes and operational procedures
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • experience working with commercial ovens and bakery tools
  • strict adherence to health and safety practices
  • punctuality and reliable attendance
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking or food production experience preferred
  • ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately
  • strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
  • good physical stamina for lifting and standing
  • familiarity with commercial baking equipment advantageous
  • effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Follows NbC recipes and cake production methods
  • effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other baking tools
  • accurately prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking
  • places cake pans into hot oven and monitors baking process
  • adheres to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes
  • maintains product rotation standards and baking and refrigeration logs
  • assists Bakery Manager in developing production plan and monitoring inventory
  • notifies management when supply replenishment is needed
  • evaluates raw ingredients and finished cakes to ensure quality standards
  • cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation
  • complies with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies
  • maintains consistent attendance and punctuality
  • works collaboratively as part of the bakery team
