Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a bakery, deli, or food service environment
- familiarity with proper food safety and handling protocols
- multilingual communication skills are a plus
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer assistance by greeting and supporting customers with bakery-related inquiries
- assist the department manager in meeting sales and profitability goals
- maintain bakery displays by restocking, organizing, and rotating products to ensure freshness and visual appeal
- follow company guidelines for packaging and labeling baked goods
- comply with quality, food safety, and sanitation standards
- regularly check product freshness and remove items that do not meet quality standards
- support inventory control, procurement, and product presentation according to instructions
- maintain a safe and clean work environment according to company standards
