Job Requirements

  • must be 16 years of age or older
  • must have a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card
  • previous baking experience is required

  • previous baking experience is required

Job Duties

  • adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy procedures
  • extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients
  • prepare and supervise the preparation of all the pastries and baked goods for the Moose's Tooth
  • create and fulfill par levels
  • handle, store, date, and rotate all products properly
  • monitor and promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a manager
  • be a creative contributor to dessert specials
  • be responsible for costing recipes (software is available)
  • ensure completion of all opening, closing, and side duties
  • communicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurant
  • work as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
