Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous baking experience preferred
  • ability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • reliable transportation
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • A flexible spirit who adapts easily to changes in work location or routine
  • skilled in baking cakes, pies, and breads with minimal supervision
  • decorating skills are a big plus
  • able to prepare afternoon break items with creativity and consistency
  • a true team player who enjoys working with others and contributing to a positive atmosphere
  • reliable and punctual
  • detail-oriented with a keen eye for presentation and quality

Job Duties

  • Prepare all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
  • assist higher level bakers
  • prepare afternoon break items with creativity and consistency
  • ensure quality and presentation of all baked goods
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry work area
  • follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned by the Chef
