Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a bakery or food preparation environment preferred
ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to baking
basic math skills for measuring ingredients
availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
adherence to hygiene and safety standards

Job Qualifications

knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
experience working in a commercial kitchen or pastry shop
strong attention to detail and time management skills
ability to work effectively as part of a team
good communication skills
willingness to learn and take direction

Job Duties

Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to pastry shop standards
assists higher level bakers
maintains cleanliness and organization of pastry work area
follows food safety and sanitation guidelines
monitors ingredient stock and communicates needs to the Chef
helps with inventory control and storage
performs other duties as assigned by the Chef
