Job Requirements

  • at least two years experience in an artisan bakery setting
  • passion for baking and a desire to grow
  • flexibility to work the pm shift from 5pm to 1am or similar
  • commitment to quality and creativity
  • knowledge of natural leavened breads and lamination a plus
  • ability to work in a clean and organized kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of two years experience in an artisan bakery
  • passion for artisan bread making
  • knowledge of natural leavening and lamination techniques is preferred
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • understanding of gluten-free and vegan baking methods is advantageous
  • strong attention to detail
  • willingness to learn and adapt to new baking trends

Job Duties

  • prepare artisan breads and pastries according to established recipes and standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • innovate and develop new baking recipes and techniques
  • manage natural leavening and lamination processes
  • accommodate dietary restrictions with gluten-free and vegan baking options
  • collaborate with the team to ensure quality and consistency of all baked goods
  • comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
