Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in baking or pastry preferred
  • strong passion for food and baking
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • willingness to follow safety and health regulations
  • physical ability to handle kitchen tasks
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

  • General knife handling skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • experience in high-volume restaurants or bakeries preferred
  • able to take constructive criticism and learn quickly
  • able to follow recipes without direct supervision
  • strong time management skills
  • full availability including weekends

Job Duties

  • Follow recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen management
  • Set up station according to established expectations
  • Execute production from start to finish including the production and management of all in-house baked items and pastries
  • Work collaboratively with BOH and FOH staff
  • Maintain cleanliness of all BOH work areas including refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas
  • Participate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas
  • Follow set schedule and provide appropriate notification for tardiness or absence
  • Conform to Department of Health requirements to maintain an A-level kitchen
