Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year prior work experience as a cook, baker, or enrollment in a culinary program
  • ability to use scales, thermometers, measuring, and divide and multiply recipes
  • good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • experience working with baking equipment including oven, mixers, etc.
  • clear understanding of kitchen and food safety guidelines
  • valid Food Handlers Card if required by county

Job Duties

  • Prepare products using all methods, established portions, and recipes for baking preparation
  • manages daily production and communication of product counts with coaching team
  • prepare breakfast items for bake including quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins, etc.
  • prepare and bake bread items including loaves, buns, rolls, cookies, etc.
  • daily preparation of seasonal fresh fruit for pies and toppings
  • clean all bake related machines, workstations, transit trays, and instruments too large for dishwasher
  • responsible to properly label, organize and rotate bake ingredients in freeze and storage areas
  • rotates bake inventory to maintain freshness and quality, make products fresh daily
  • receive orders, check invoices, and put deliveries away as needed
  • prepare kitchen for the day including making sure everything is secure, lighting the oven, etc.
  • notify the Coaches of any food quality issues, inconsistencies of product with recipes, low inventory, etc.
  • maintain a clean and sanitary bake area and station at all times
  • comply with established weight and measures, health, sanitation, and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • protect the Brand through promoting and providing extraordinary service when interacting with team members and guests
  • demonstrate dependable leadership qualities to work primarily unassisted, and is proactive to escalate matters as needed
  • flexible to cross train in other functions for back of the house/kitchen areas
  • must be available to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts including weekends and holidays
