Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year prior work experience as a cook, baker, or enrollment in a culinary program
  • valid Food Handlers Card if required by county
  • ability to use scales, thermometers, measuring tools, and perform basic recipe calculations
  • good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • experience with baking equipment including ovens and mixers
  • clear understanding of kitchen and food safety guidelines
  • availability to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare products using all methods, established portions, and recipes for baking preparation
  • manage daily production and communicate product counts with coaching team
  • prepare breakfast items including quiche, cinnamon rolls, muffins
  • prepare and bake bread items including loaves, buns, rolls, cookies
  • daily preparation of seasonal fresh fruit for pies and toppings
  • clean all bake related machines, workstations, transit trays, and large instruments
  • properly label, organize, and rotate bake ingredients in freeze and storage areas
  • receive orders, check invoices, and put deliveries away
  • prepare kitchen for the day including lighting the oven and securing the area
  • notify coaches of food quality issues, product inconsistencies, or low inventory
  • maintain a clean and sanitary bake area and station
  • comply with weight and measures, health, sanitation, and safety policies
  • promote and provide extraordinary service when interacting with team members and guests
  • demonstrate dependable leadership qualities and proactively escalate matters
  • cross train in other kitchen functions
  • work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts including weekends and holidays
