Job Requirements
- Must be able to bake various baked goods including Mexican, Central American, and American specialties
- Must enjoy working with the public
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have a friendly, courteous attitude and provide extraordinary customer service
- Must exhibit a responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job, co-workers, and customers
- Must have a positive attitude towards safety and be committed to following all health and safety regulations and policies
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Must have 3 years of baking experience
- Basic understanding of English language
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of baking experience
- Basic understanding of the English language
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in food handling and preparation
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Prepare dough, batters, and mixtures for breads, cakes, and pastries according to Vallarta Supermarket recipes
- Bake a variety of bakery goods including Mexican, Central American, and American specialty items
- Greet customers with a smile and provide extraordinary customer service
- Respond to customer requests to meet department goals and objectives
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a positive, professional, and courteous attitude towards co-workers, customers, and supervisors
- Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Transfer to other locations as needed within a reasonable commute
