Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work Thursdays, Sundays, and Mondays morning shift
- Experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle fast-paced retail environment
- Basic mathematical skills
- Intermediate language and reasoning skills
- Familiarity with bakery equipment such as proofer, oven, microwave, hot case, Hobart scale, knives, and knife sharpener
- Computer skills including POS system and email
- Ability to maintain punctual and predictable attendance

Job Duties
- Prepare in-house baked good items according to product specifications
- Package, price and provide appropriate signage for bakery items as needed
- Receive and process orders from vendors
- Ensure products are stocked well and rotated
- Maintain sanitary and organized kitchen production area according to all governing codes and regulations
- Maintain orderly backstock and freezer area
- Merchandise bakery table, bread shelves, and other bakery item displays throughout the store
- Coordinate appropriate signage for products
- Coordinate product with Marketing Coordinator for demo and sampling
- Train staff as directed
- Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts
- Ensure follow-up of department phone calls and messages
- Assist customers throughout other departments
