Job Requirements
- Comprehension of both verbal and written recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques for baking
- Follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene
- Ability to manage time independently
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Have the ability to move objects approximately 35 lbs to waist height
- Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards
- Positive can-do attitude
- This position may be called upon to perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor
- Associates will be expected to provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, friendly manner at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in baking or culinary arts desirable
- Knowledge of baking techniques and production processes
- Ability to comprehend and follow recipes and instructions
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and adaptability to fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods including desserts, cookies, scones, muffins, and bagels by proofing and baking
- Follow both verbal and written recipes and production orders accurately
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
- Manage time independently to ensure timely production
- Stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks including moving objects up to 35 pounds
- Comply with client and company COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols
- Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous and friendly manner
