Job Requirements

  • Able to work on feet for full shift
  • willing to perform physically strenuous tasks such as reaching, crouching, and bending
  • must follow GMP guidelines for food handlers including hair and fingernail standards
  • ability to wear appropriate attire including close-toed shoes and pants
  • capable of working in a busy and dynamic environment
  • must be available to complete all assigned duties
  • qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records may be considered in accordance with relevant Fair Chance laws

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • previous experience in food service or event staffing preferred
  • familiarity with point of sale systems
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow GMP guidelines including hair and fingernail cleanliness
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • physical stamina to perform various tasks throughout a shift

Job Duties

  • Portioning baked items
  • assisting pastry chef with production of baked items
  • cooking, preparing, serving, or transporting food items independently or as part of a team
  • engaging with customers while operating point of sale machines or cash registers in a professional manner
  • cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment at the start or end of shifts
  • working on feet throughout entire shifts
  • performing physical activities such as reaching, crouching, and bending as required
