Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year prior work experience as a cook or baker or enrollment in a culinary program
  • ability to use scales thermometers measuring and divide and multiply recipes
  • good organizational communication and problem-solving skills
  • experience working with baking equipment including oven mixers etc
  • clear understanding of kitchen and food safety guidelines
  • valid food handlers card if required by county

Job Duties

  • Prepare products using all methods established portions and recipes for baking preparation
  • manages daily production and communication of product counts with coaching team
  • prepare breakfast items for bake including quiche cinnamon rolls muffins etc
  • prepare and bake bread items including loaves buns rolls cookies etc
  • daily preparation of seasonal fresh fruit for pies and toppings
  • clean all bake related machines workstations transit trays and instruments too large for dishwasher
  • responsible to properly label organize and rotate bake ingredients in freeze and storage areas
  • rotates bake inventory merchandise and product supplies to maintain freshness and quality make products fresh daily
  • receive orders check invoices and put deliveries away as needed
  • prepare kitchen for the day including making sure everything is secure lighting the oven etc
  • notify the coaches of any food quality issues inconsistencies of product with recipes low inventory etc
  • maintain a clean and sanitary bake area and station at all times
  • comply with established weight and measures health sanitation and safety policies procedures and guidelines
  • protect the brand through promoting and providing extraordinary service when interacting with team members and guests
  • demonstrate dependable leadership qualities to work primarily unassisted and is proactive to escalate matters as needed
  • flexible to cross train in other functions for back of the house kitchen areas
  • must be available to work morning afternoon and evening shifts includes weekends and holidays
