Job Duties
- Measure ingredients accurately
- make and shape dough
- manage the baking process from start to finish
- decorate baked products as needed
- oversee bread counters daily to assess production requirements
- maintain ingredient freshness
- monitor bakery productivity and quality standards
- track inventory and place supply orders with the Store Manager
- receive merchandise from suppliers and verify accuracy
- coordinate department activities and supervise employees
- maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workstations
- comply with all food safety standards for handling and machinery use
- operate bakery equipment including knives, pots, pans, ovens, and mixers
