Job Requirements
- previous experience working in a bakery
- able to perform bakery operations, practices and procedures within a retail grocery-bakery environment
- be self-directed and results oriented
- project a positive business image and lead by example
- good attention to detail and follow through skills
- good customer relations skills
- be able to meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality and safety requirements
- work efficiently with weights, measures, scales and tally unit product retail prices
- do basic computer entries
- operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment
- work hours required including flexible shifts, overtime and weekends
- work in physical environment with continuous exposure to cooler and water
- meet and maintain job productivity, attendance, punctuality, safety requirements and wear safety attire

Job Duties
- perform baking functions efficiently and timely
- ensure bakery supplies are received and bakery products are processed
- package and display bakery products per department requirements
- assist and interact with customers as needed
- operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- adhere to bakery operations, practices, and procedures
- maintain department productivity, quality and safety standards
