Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment ideal
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to customer service excellence

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must demonstrate knowledge of baking techniques
- Must be able to work as a team member and interact positively with customers
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to follow instructions clearly
- Ability to work a schedule based on business needs
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
Job Duties
- Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service or assistance
- Commit to the 'Golden Rule' and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team
- Achieve the highest associate morale in the industry by working in a style that is respectful, supportive and totally team oriented (RSTO)
- Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise and verify accuracy and quality of received products
- Keep all bakery ingredients or merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy and product code dates, using first in, first out
- Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory control
- Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy
- Prepare all baking mixtures according to established company or department procedures and recipes
- Pan up frozen products and pan and roll up bread
- Load and unload ovens, know proper temperatures and duration to bake products
- Operate mixer and write on cakes, prepare product to meet customer specifications
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations including safety, health, and packaging requirements
- Practice proper sanitation procedures
- Maintain neat, well-groomed personal appearance following company dress code
- Keep display cases, cooler and freezer organized and clean
- Exercise proper safety practices when lifting or moving products or using equipment
