Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of baking experience
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to produce pastries, wedding cakes, and specialty items from scratch
  • Willingness to work day shifts (6:00am-2:45pm or 8:00am-4:45pm)
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Over 2 years of baking experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or similar environment preferred
  • Ability to produce all aspects of bake shop including pastries, wedding cakes, and specialty items from scratch
  • Strong attention to detail in presentation and sanitation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare baked goods by following recipes and yield guides
  • Assist in decorating cakes and pastries while maintaining attention to detail in presentation
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the work area
  • Process requisitions and properly label and date products for safekeeping
  • Set up and break down workstations as needed
  • Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
  • Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and service staff to address guest needs and concerns
