Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of baking experience
- Ability to work full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to produce pastries, wedding cakes, and specialty items from scratch
- Willingness to work day shifts (6:00am-2:45pm or 8:00am-4:45pm)
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Over 2 years of baking experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or similar environment preferred
- Ability to produce all aspects of bake shop including pastries, wedding cakes, and specialty items from scratch
- Strong attention to detail in presentation and sanitation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare baked goods by following recipes and yield guides
- Assist in decorating cakes and pastries while maintaining attention to detail in presentation
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the work area
- Process requisitions and properly label and date products for safekeeping
- Set up and break down workstations as needed
- Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
- Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and service staff to address guest needs and concerns
