Job Duties
- prepare dishes, follow recipe and yield guides
- assist in decorating cakes and pastries
- maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
- monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- ensure all requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
- properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
- set-up and break down workstation
- regularly run for food and restock all kitchen supplies and food items required for service
- communicate, direct and assist management, chef and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees
