Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- 5 to 7 years of work experience with yeast doughs and a variety of cake batters
- valid food handler's certificate
- prior experience coaching and developing others
- ability to think critically adapt and collaborate
- operate with a high level of emotional intelligence and initiative
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to regularly lift up to 10 lbs frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties
- assist production manager and commissary bakery chef to create baked goods following recipes
- identify and troubleshoot production issues
- mix and deposit batters into pans for baking
- operate baking machinery including ovens and wrapping machines
- set controls for mixing and blending machines
- deliver prepared product for baking
- remove finished products from pans
- prepare orders for delivery
- manage baked and unbaked inventories including tracking expiration dates
- regulate oven drafts and temperatures while monitoring product quality
- combine ingredients for mixing
- laminate various doughs
- manage pars, quality, and efficiency of product creation
- measure and weigh ingredients
- check quality of raw materials
- adapt ingredient quantities
- roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form products
- coordinate bakery deliveries
- order and receive supplies
- report inconsistencies to management
- develop process controls and train staff
- communicate production schedules
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food storage and preparation areas
- sanitize utensils and machinery
- adhere to food safety laws and company safety policies
- keep work area organized and safe
- report accidents and injuries
