Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years experience in a full service restaurant preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend recipes
- Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work in conditions involving exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and varying temperatures

Job Duties
- Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter, follow established recipes precisely
- Shape dough for cookies, pies, and fancy pastries
- Bake products to recipe specifications, adjust oven temperatures as needed
- Prepare and cook ingredients for pie fillings, puddings, custards, or other desserts
- Pour filling into pie shells and top with meringue or cream
- Mix ingredients for icings, blend colors for decorations
- Decorate and finish cakes and pastries appealingly
- Make chocolate and sugar decorations for buffet
- Operate all bake shop equipment properly
- Adhere to time and temperature controls
- Cover, label, and date food products before storage
- Conduct proper FIFO procedures for inventory
- Follow production logs and quantities accurately
- Initiate positive guest experience at buffet stations
- Clean work station and equipment before end of shift
- Perform additional duties as assigned
