Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months bakery experience or equivalent education or training
- Servsafe certification
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- Capacity to maintain professionalism including neat appearance
- Ability to work amid interruptions
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends
- Must be minimum 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months of bakery experience or any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Servsafe certification
- Ability to organize, prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to comprehend and follow supervisor's instructions
- Capacity to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Able to work with interruptions
- Basic reading, writing, math, and task completion skills
- Coordination, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making skills
- Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as needed
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Prepare, bake, and finish cakes, pies, French pastry, cream tarts and other dessert/baked items according to the standard recipe
- Prepare dessert and baked goods for restaurants and banquets as per production sheets
- Prepare requisition for items for storeroom and pastry/bakery chef approval
- Maintain clean and sanitary work stations within Servsafe and GSR guidelines
- Ability to follow directions and recipes as dictated by bakery management
- Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with communication, initiative, problem solving, guest service, work habits, and professional conduct
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
