Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 6 months bakery experience or equivalent
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Servsafe certification
  • Ability to follow instructions and recipes
  • Good physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 60 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work under moderate to loud noise
  • Availability for flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of bakery experience or any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge and skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Servsafe certification
  • Ability to follow recipes and supervisor instructions
  • Good coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with interruptions
  • Strong communication and professional conduct
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare, bake, and finish cakes, pies, French pastry, cream tarts and other desserts/baked items according to standard recipes
  • Prepare dessert and baked goods for restaurants and banquets as per production sheets
  • Prepare requisition for items for storeroom and pastry/bakery chef approval
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work stations within Servsafe and GSR guidelines
  • Follow directions and recipes as dictated by bakery management
  • Demonstrate abilities to meet performance expectations with communication, initiative, problem solving, guest service, work habits, and professional conduct
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
