Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking experience in a high-volume or hotel environment
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience preparing pastries and desserts in a high-volume or hotel environment
- Knowledge of baking techniques and culinary standards
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive approach to hospitality
- Background in traditional European pastry production is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes
- Assist in production of banquet and restaurant desserts
- Properly measure, mix, proof, bake, and finish products in a high-volume production setting
- Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products and ensure proper storage and refrigeration
- Ensure spoilage and waste are minimized by ordering and using proper quantities and rotating products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
