Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience in a high-volume or hotel environment
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience preparing pastries and desserts in a high-volume or hotel environment
  • Knowledge of baking techniques and culinary standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Positive approach to hospitality
  • Background in traditional European pastry production is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes
  • Assist in production of banquet and restaurant desserts
  • Properly measure, mix, proof, bake, and finish products in a high-volume production setting
  • Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products and ensure proper storage and refrigeration
  • Ensure spoilage and waste are minimized by ordering and using proper quantities and rotating products
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
