Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of commercial baking
- Ability to follow instructions such as menus and recipes
- Ability to cook and plan meals
- Must be able to stand for 5-6 hours a day and to squat reach and bend regularly
- Knowledge of food storage and handling techniques
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial baking
- Post high school degree preferred
- Minimum of two years full-time experience in a related hospitality setting or equivalent education and experience preferred
- Professional baking experience preferred
Job Duties
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe sanitary food-handling practices
- Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
- Wash peel cut and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption
- Produce food for bakery orders for various groups and events
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance at work
- Perform other related work duties as assigned
