Job Requirements

- Previous experience as a baker or pastry chef preferred
- Knowledge of baking procedures and ingredients
- Familiarity with food safety regulations

Job Duties
- Prepare sweet items including pastries, cakes, fruit compotes, breads, chocolates for all outlets and banquets
- Supervise pastry production area ensuring compliance with recipe specifications
- Ensure quality of plate presentation for each item
- Respond to guest and associate requests professionally exceeding guest expectations
- Maintain knowledge of proper baking techniques to exceed guest expectations
- Date and rotate food containers as per SOP
- Ensure storage items meet temperature requirements per food safety standards
- Maintain pars for shift, complete freezer pulls and line setups
- Comply with daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
- Manage time and station productivity according to business volume
- Set up and produce quality products complying with health and company standards
- Record and communicate out-of-stock items or shortages to manager
- Return unused food items to designated storage covering and dating perishables
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment
