Job Duties

  • Prepare sweet items including pastries, cakes, fruit compotes, breads, chocolates for all outlets and banquets
  • Supervise pastry production area ensuring compliance with recipe specifications
  • Ensure quality of plate presentation for each item
  • Respond to guest and associate requests professionally exceeding guest expectations
  • Maintain knowledge of proper baking techniques to exceed guest expectations
  • Date and rotate food containers as per SOP
  • Ensure storage items meet temperature requirements per food safety standards
  • Maintain pars for shift, complete freezer pulls and line setups
  • Comply with daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
  • Manage time and station productivity according to business volume
  • Set up and produce quality products complying with health and company standards
  • Record and communicate out-of-stock items or shortages to manager
  • Return unused food items to designated storage covering and dating perishables
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment
