- Has a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Preferably has either pastry-related work or culinary academy experience

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Maintain solid knowledge of all food products
- Identify and safely use all kitchen equipment
- Prepare dishes following recipes and yield guides
- Plate desserts
- Work as a team, assisting all guest and employee needs and inquiries
- Deliver food and equipment as necessary to banquet event venues/rooms
- Communicate with management, chefs and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issue or needs requested by guests and/or other employees
