Job Duties
- Decorate cakes
- Take orders
- Bake cookies
- Fill counters with baked goods
- Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
- Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries
- Maintain food and equipment inventories and records
- Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service
- Review work procedures and operational problems to improve service, performance, or safety
- Assess staffing needs and recruit staff
- Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs
- Record sales data to determine product profitability
