Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior baking experience required
  • ability to handle food safely
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to baking
  • authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • availability to work shifts based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards
  • assist with completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory monitoring
  • ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • handle food items safely following safety regulations
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
  • interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally
  • maintain pace during peak production and service
  • check food presentation and service standards
  • follow sanitation and safety principles according to corporate and OSHA standards
  • complete assigned shift work timely and thoroughly
  • perform other duties as assigned
