Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior professional experience in baking preferred
- availability for full time or part time work including weekends, nights and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to baking
- ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
- legal authorization to work in the United States

- ability to follow recipes and production specifications
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work varied schedules including weekends, nights and holidays
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to interact positively with customers and team members

Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following production standards
- assist with production records including waste tracking and inventory updates
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area
- handle food items safely according to safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints
- keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
- check food presentation and serving standards
- follow sanitation and safety principles including OSHA standards
- complete assigned shift work thoroughly and timely
- perform other duties as assigned
