Babson Trim Dining, located at 231 Forest Street, Babson Park, MA, is seeking a full-time Baker to join their dedicated culinary team. Babson Trim Dining is a vibrant dining establishment within an academic environment, committed to delivering high-quality baked goods and exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and visitors alike. Job Requirements

  • Must have prior baking experience
  • ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and prescribed standards
  • complete production records including waste tracking and supply notifications
  • maintain proper food presentation, quality, portion control and serving temperatures
  • uphold sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
  • follow food safety and handling regulations during preparation and service
  • clean equipment and workstations thoroughly
  • interact with customers to resolve complaints courteously
  • maintain calm and efficient performance during peak production
  • ensure all food is presented, served and displayed to standard
  • follow safety and sanitation principles in food handling and equipment use
  • complete shift work timely and as assigned
  • perform other duties as assigned
