Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years baking experience preferred
- ability to work full time Friday through Monday with varying hours
- capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks associated with baking
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to follow prescribed recipes and production guidelines
- availability to work flexible shifts Friday through Monday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of 2 years baking experience preferred
- knowledge of baking techniques and ingredient properties
- ability to follow recipes and production standards accurately
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills for customer interaction
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to handle equipment and perform cleaning duties efficiently
- teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by following recipes and production standards
- complete production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- inform supervisor when supplies are low
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- handle food items safely according to all regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a professional manner
- keep up with peak production and service efficiently and calmly
- ensure all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
- follow sanitation and safety principles in food handling and equipment use
- complete shift work timely and thoroughly
- perform other duties as assigned
