Job Requirements
- Prior baking experience is required
- availability to work full-time Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- ability to comply with food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area
- ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- willingness to interact professionally with customers
- ability to complete assigned shift duties in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
- Prior baking experience
- knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
- ability to follow recipes and production guidelines accurately
- strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- good communication skills for customer interaction
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- basic organizational skills
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- assist with the completion of production records including waste tracking and inventory management
- ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures
- maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area
- handle food items appropriately and in compliance with safety regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving area
- interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately, and efficiently
- check that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards
- follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
- complete shift work in a timely and thorough manner
- perform other duties as assigned
