Job Requirements
- Prior cooking and baking experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards
- Availability to work full time
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with baking
- Ability to use baking equipment properly
Job Qualifications

- Ability to follow approved recipes and production standards

Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production and catering sheets
- Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards for proper food preparation
- Use proper equipment during baking processes
- Complete production records including waste tracking and product shortages
- Inform supervisor when supplies are low
- Ensure proper food presentation, quality, portion control, and serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Handle food items following safety regulations during preparation and service
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving assigned area
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- Relay customer concerns to supervisors
- Work calmly and efficiently during peak production times
- Check all food presentation and display standards
- Follow sanitation and safety principles including OSHA standards
- Complete assigned shift work timely and thoroughly
- Perform other duties as assigned
