Job Requirements
- Cake-baking experience required
- able to work full-time Monday through Friday
- must be able to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- able to maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- capable of handling peak production periods calmly
- ability to interact professionally with customers
- physically able to perform job duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous cake-baking experience
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes accurately
- good customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- basic record-keeping skills
Job Duties
- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
- assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
- ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes and following production standards
- complete production records including waste tracking and inventory updates
- maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control and serving temperatures
- keep work area and equipment sanitized and orderly
- handle food safely following all safety and sanitation regulations
- clean equipment and workstation thoroughly after assignments
- interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner
- maintain calmness and efficiency during peak production times
- ensure all food is presented and served per standards
- comply with OSHA and corporate safety standards
- complete assigned shift work thoroughly and on time
- perform other duties as assigned
