Job Requirements

  • Previous high volume baking experience preferred
  • ability to work Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • physical ability to perform baking duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • reliable and punctual
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous high volume baking experience preferred
  • knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety
  • ability to work as part of a team and independently

Job Duties

  • Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per production and catering sheets
  • assist in production planning to meet daily requirements
  • ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards
  • complete production records including waste tracking and report low supplies to supervisor
  • ensure food quality, portion control and proper serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment and utensils
  • handle food items safely during preparation and service
  • clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving
  • interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly manner
  • keep up with peak production and service calmly and efficiently
  • ensure food presentation, serving and display meet standards
  • follow sanitation and safety regulations according to corporate and OSHA standards
  • complete shift work timely and thoroughly
  • perform other duties as assigned
