Job Requirements
- Must be able to bake various baked goods including Mexican, Central American, and American items
- Must enjoy working with the public
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have a friendly, courteous attitude and provide extraordinary customer service
- Must exhibit a responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job, co-workers, and customers
- Must have a positive attitude towards safety and be committed to following all health and safety regulations and policies
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
Job Qualifications
- Three years of baking experience
- Ability to bake Mexican, Central American, and American baked goods
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and courteous attitude
- Commitment to safety and health regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Basic understanding of the English language
Job Duties
- Prepare dough, batters, and mixtures according to Vallarta Supermarket recipes
- Bake cakes, pastries, breads, and specialty bakery goods including Mexican and Central American items
- Greet customers with a smile and provide extraordinary customer service
- Respond to customers' requests to meet department goals
- Follow all health and safety regulations and policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bakery work areas
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the bakery department
